RASAMAYA® BARRE is an athletic workout specifically designed to strengthen and lengthen your body. Classes are fueled by upbeat music and efficiently flow through all muscle groups. Create endurance and stamina through isometric strength training and increase your flexibility through focused stretching. The barre method is influenced by classical ballet barre technique, Pilates, yoga, and orthopedic exercises.  Barre is one of the fastest and safest ways to create results in your body by targeting those difficult to tone areas. The class is taught in a group setting, but offers personalized attention through verbal and hands-on corrections. As Rasamaya believes strongly in education all classes offer an anatomical theme.

Rasamaya also offers Barre Teacher Training in residential, private and modular formats.

RASAMAYA® BARRE FOUNDATION introduces newcomers to the basic moves and exercises of Rasmaya Barre. It's a good place to start if you are new to this kind of movement and modifications are always offered.

RASAMAYA® BARRE is challenging, empowering, effective and fun. Exercises are specifically timed to upbeat, energizing music.  This is class is appropriate for all levels of practitioner.

RASAMAYA® ADVANCED BARRE assumes prior experience of these exercises. You'll move faster and work harder, sculpting your body and focusing your mind.

RASAMAYA® CORE Rasamaya® translates as “fluid” and CORE is our mat based version of barre that laces together barre exercises, Pilates, yoga and other core-strengthening movements within a powerful, rhythmic, flowing 45- 60 minute class.  All classes are fueled by music and challenge flexibility, balance and strength.  Each class begins with a specific anatomical focus and education before moving into a body-strengthening flow. Integration and relaxation is offered at the end of each class to allow the body to absorb the new information and energy it receives from the practice.

RASAMAYA® CORE FOUNDATION is perfect for the beginner or intermediate practitioner looking to strengthen their core or abdomen. You will learn the basics of each exercise, with more explanation and modifications than you’ll find in the other mat barre classes. You are encouraged to move at your own pace. Props are occasionally introduced into this class. 

RASAMAYA® CORE is geared towards intermediate practitioners. Class moves at a slightly faster pace, but modifications are always offered. This class moves like a core-based dance – come prepared to sweat and feel energized.

RASAMAYA® ADVANCED CORE is for advanced practitioners, or those looking for a challenge in their abdominal strengthening and body toning practice. Class moves at a fast pace. This class moves like a core-based dance – come prepared to sweat and feel energized.
