THAI YOGA BODYWORK is an ancient practice dating back 2,500 years which incorporates yoga, ayurveda , and meditation. Thai Yoga is also based on the Buddhist practice of metta (loving compassion). The bodywork is performed on the floor with the recipient dressed in loose comfortable clothing. No oils are used. This technique has also been described as "lazy man's yoga." The session will incorporate rhythmic rocking, palming and thumbing along sen lines and gentle stretching and breathwork creating a slow flowing dance around and with the recipient's body. In addition to stretching and toning the muscles, Thai Yoga bodywork improves circulation, relieves muscular tension, boosts the immune system, and balances the body physically and energetically. Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes SHORT THAI YOGA SESSIONS(available around class times)THAI FOOT & LEG TREATMENT - 20 or 40 minutes
